LDC Collection Systems

If you have been unfortunate enough to get a parking ticket, pay it on time, yet receive a collections letter from "LDC Collection Systems" stating you have a balance due on a ticket then you have been contacted by another Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) subsidiary.

There is no published way to contact said agency to correct the matter via phone, U.S. Postal Service, or email. One must go to a parking enforcement office. Those offices appear to be run by Affiliated Computer Services in some way.

This ellusive yet omnipresent entity LDC Collection Systems appears to have no home on the web or physical address other than a post office box 30087 in ZIP code 90030-0087. Court documents reveal the entity is in fact a subsidiary of ACS.

Reader To Do: obtain physical contact information for "LDC Collection Systems" (e.g. Name, phone numbers)

  2. So LDC has collections account on me for a ticket that I received in 2007 of May. I never received a letter or email about this and the way I found out was because I decided to check my credit score just the other day. My credit dropped 90 points!!!! WTF!! And so I called LDC and gave them every cars license plate number I owned at that time to try and find out what citation/parking ticket im behind on. Guess what they told me, "you have no outstanding tickets at this time". So basically there is no citation number, no ticket, no way of paying this $174 which they say im behind on( even if i wanted to pay). But they are still telling experion credit agency that I am delinquent and have been for the past 5 months. Yes, I "supposedly" received this ticket in 2007 but they decided to sneak a collections on me starting Sept of 2011. What??????

I have no idea what to do. I called LDC collections in los angeles, county and now Santa Monica. Each place is telling me I have no outstanding tickets.

I filed a dispute through Experion so LDC or ACS must reply within 30 days or the bad marks get taken off. But who knows what bull letter they have ready to send to Experion. I just hope they dont reply or they send something, anything with a citation number so I can handle it.

If any one out there has a solution please share it.

    2. I have a funny feeling LDC is a scam. I have a bogus parking ticket from San Francisco telling me to pay LDC Collections...and I live in Los Angeles.

  3. I have never received anything from this LDC Collections until today. I filled my taxes and received my federal refund but not my state.....? Well apparently I owe money for a parking citation in the amount of $368.75.....WTF!! Now I know in L.B. you can not renew your vehicle registration if you have outstanding tickets of any kind. I had already payed my registration on-line 8 days before they intercepted my state tax refund and stole money from me. This is a bunch of bullshit and from what I have read so far I am up shit creek without a paddle.

  4. I too apparently am being scammed. I do not know who these people are, but I have been cleared by the city of Long Beach for a parking ticket I never received. It was in their system, I was cleared, and have in hand the Notice of Disposition from the city that proves it. 11 months later I find that I am being sent to collection for $61.25. There is no human to talk to, only a pay now. If Long Beach is associated with them, they are associated with criminals. There has to be a way for people to get justice.

  5. I just received a "notice of delinquent parking violation" from LDC. My vehicle has never even been in SF! For anyone else that has this happen, call this number: 412-345-2380. I spoke with someone who said the system just makes mistakes (BS!) but obviously couldn't explain what it was. She said they are contracted through DMV which seems odd as they aren't even backed by BBB. This company should be shut down!!!!

  6. My parents just received a notice from LDC with a delinquent notice from San Francisco for having a car parked during street cleaning. We live in L.A. and the car in question has never been in LA. Thus the reason I found this page, because it all seem real fishy. The citation number shows up in the SFMTA website, I imagine lots of people just pay it... we will fight it.

  7. They are legit. I got a ticket in Philadelphia in 2009 visiting from California. They sent me a collection notice in 2013. I got it legitimately. I actually paid the citation but the Philly traffic court has no record of me paying it. Now its on my credit report and I have to pay the stupid ticket again. Send money to some P.O. Box in Philadelphia.
